Swipoo
Free up space, one swipe at a time
Swipoo turns your photo gallery into a deck of cards. Swipe left to bin, right to keep, up to favourite and down to decide later. Duplicates, look-alike shots and blurry photos are found on your phone, and nothing is ever uploaded.
Coming soon for iPhone and Android
Four swipes, zero fuss
Pick a deck, then flick. Every card is a real photo or video from your gallery, with its date and size. Changed your mind? Undo goes all the way back to your first card.
Swipe leftBin
Into the bin for review. Nothing is deleted yet.
Swipe rightKeep
Stays in your gallery and is marked as reviewed.
Swipe upFavourite
Kept, and added to your phone’s Favourites.
Swipe downLater
Parked in the Decide later pile for another day.
Prefer tapping? Every swipe has a button too, for one-handed use and for screen readers.
Everything you need to tidy up, nothing you don’t
-
A swipe deck for every corner of your gallery
Work through a month at a time, an album, or a quick deck. Each deck remembers where you stopped, and months show how much you’ve reviewed.
Selfies and Live Photos decks are on iPhone.
-
Smart finds
Exact duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos, screenshots, screen recordings and large videos, found by your phone itself. Later scans only look at what’s new.
-
Best shot
In every group of similar photos, Swipoo crowns the best one by sharpness, faces, exposure and resolution. Keep the best and bin the rest in one tap.
-
Video compressor
Shrink big videos to High, Medium or Small and see the size before and after first. The smaller copy keeps the original date and place.
-
Contacts cleaner
Finds duplicate contacts by phone number or name. Preview every merge and tidy only the ones you pick.
-
Daily goal, streaks and achievements
Set a goal of 25 to 200 cards a day, keep your streak alive and unlock achievements. Optional reminders: a monthly Clean-up day, and a nudge when your bin isn’t empty.
-
Bin review with one confirm, and a safety net
Nothing is deleted while you swipe. Review the bin sorted by size, tap anything to restore it, then delete it all with one confirmation from your phone.
On iPhone, deleted items wait in Recently Deleted for 30 days. On Android 11 and later they go to the system trash, so you can still change your mind.
Celebrate what you free up. No scare tactics.
No fake “your phone is infected” alarms and no countdown timers. Swipoo counts the space you actually got back, cheers real milestones with a little confetti, and never shames you for a full gallery.
Everything stays on your phone.
No account, no uploads, no ads, no tracking. No weekly paywall traps.
- Photos, videos and contacts are analysed on the phone itself.

Good questions
Is Swipoo free?
Yes. Swipoo is free to download and every feature is included at launch. There are no ads and no weekly subscription that pops up after three swipes.
Does Swipoo upload my photos?
No. Swipoo has no servers and no account. Your photos and videos are read on your phone to show them as cards and to find duplicates, similar and blurry shots, and the results stay in the app’s private storage on your phone. The Android app doesn’t even have the Internet permission.
If you use iCloud Photos, iOS may fetch a photo from your own iCloud account so Swipoo can show it, just as the Photos app does. Nothing goes to us.
Can I undo a delete?
While you swipe, Undo takes you back card by card, and anything in the bin can be restored with a tap. When you do delete, your phone asks you to confirm first.
On iPhone, deleted photos and videos stay in Photos › Recently Deleted for 30 days. On Android 11 and later they go to the system trash (usually for 30 days), which you’ll find in your gallery app as Bin, Trash or Recycle bin. On Android 10 and earlier there is no trash, so deleting is permanent. Step-by-step recovery guide.
What does limited photo access mean?
iPhone, and Android 14 and later, let you share only some of your photos with an app. With limited access, Swipoo can only see, sort and clean up the photos you picked, and smart finds only look at those. You can add more photos or allow full access at any time from Swipoo’s settings or your phone’s settings. How to change photo access.
Which languages does Swipoo speak?
English and Hindi (हिन्दी). Swipoo follows your phone’s language, and you can switch in Swipoo › Settings.
Why would Swipoo ask for my contacts?
Only if you open the optional Contacts cleaner. It finds duplicate contacts on your phone and merges only the ones you pick. If you never open it, Swipoo never asks.
