In plain words. Swipoo is free to use. It helps you decide what to delete, but you make every decision, and your phone asks you to confirm before anything is deleted. Please keep backups of what matters to you.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Workaholic Developers (“we”, “us”), the maker of Swipoo: Swipe Photo Cleaner (“Swipoo”). By downloading or using Swipoo you agree to them. On iPhone, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
2. Free to use
Swipoo is free to download and use, and it has no ads. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control. If we ever add optional paid features, the price will be shown in the App Store or Google Play before you pay, and payment is handled by Apple or Google.
3. You decide what gets deleted
- Swipoo helps you sort; every decision is yours. Suggestions such as duplicates, similar shots, blurry photos and the “best shot” are made automatically and can be wrong, so please check before you delete.
- Deleting always goes through your phone’s own confirmation. On iPhone, deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days. On Android 11 and later they go to the system trash for a limited time (usually 30 days). On Android 10 and earlier, deleting is permanent. Once those windows have passed, neither we nor Swipoo can bring deleted items back.
- On iPhone, merging contacts deletes the duplicate cards after their details are copied into the card you keep. On Android, duplicate contacts are linked instead, and nothing is deleted.
- Compressed videos are new, smaller copies. They are lower in quality than the original by design; the original stays until you delete it.
- You are responsible for what you delete. Keep backups of photos, videos and contacts that matter to you.
4. Fair use
Use Swipoo on your own photos and contacts, or ones you are allowed to manage, and within the law. Don’t copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.
5. Your data
Swipoo works on your phone, and we never receive your photos, videos or contacts. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
6. No warranty
Swipoo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can’t promise that it will be free of errors or that its suggestions will suit you.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Workaholic Developers is not liable for lost photos, videos, contacts or other data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of Swipoo. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
8. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will mention significant changes in the app’s release notes.
9. Stopping
You can stop using Swipoo at any time by deleting it. Your photos, videos and contacts stay on your phone.
